We’re John and Linda, professional musicians and passionate music educators with over 25 years of teaching experience.
We believe in a holistic approach to music education that nurtures creativity, confidence and a lifelong love of music. Our goal is to provide a supportive and welcoming environment where every student can discover their potential and flourish through music.
We take the time to understand each student and tailor our lessons to their needs.
With the teacher’s full attention, students can learn at their own pace, build confidence and enjoy making music.
Guided by qualified music teachers, students develop solid technique and expressive playing skills more efficiently.
Parents receive weekly feedback and home practice guidance, helping their child stay motivated and make steady progress.

How much are the lessons?
Lesson duration depends on the student’s age, level and goals, and can be discussed with the teacher.
How do I get started
Simply fill out the Inquiry Form on our Contact page, and we’ll get in touch for a free phone consultation.
We’ll take the time to understand your needs, walk you through our lessons, answer any questions, and arrange your first lesson if you’d like to begin. Lesson fees are simply paid upon arrival for your first lesson.
How often are the lessons?
Lessons are usually held once a week.
Twice-a-week lessons can be arranged temporarily depending on your goals and progress.
For violin beginners, to build correct posture and solid foundations, twice-weekly lessons are required for the first two school terms.
What happens if a lesson is missed?
If you’re unable to attend a lesson and would like to arrange a make-up lesson, we require at least 24 hours’ notice via SMS to your teacher.
What age can children start learning?
Most children are ready to begin structured lessons from around 6 years old, depending on their focus and readiness.
My daughters have been learning piano at Melody Music Academy for many years now.
